Robb College Industry-Mixers, Career Events, Employer Presentations.

Each year Robb College brings together employers with our students to listen to career experiences and opportunities offered to Robb graduates. Many of the companies provide casual or work-experience, harvest or holiday work and graduate career path programs.

  • The Robb “Agri-Mixer”, “Health-Mixer” and “Professionals-Mixer”nights brings local companies together to talk to the students.

  • Our select Robb “Career Days” are where our industry co-operative sponsors come from wider affield and interstate to address smaller, more personal groups of students to outline the work-experience and career opportunities they offer.

  • Our annual “Rural Focus” Dinner has an eminent industry speaker address key issues in the industry.

Robb College Agri-Mixer 2023

Over 60 Robb students studying agriculture or science mixed with 7 representatives to hear about their companies and opportunities for local employment. Most of the speakers were Robb Alumni who now own or hold senior positions in some of the oldest & largest to newest and fast growing companies in agriculture.

The evening was put together by the Robb SCR and hosted by the UNE SRI unit.

 

Robb College Career-Day Presentations, Rural Focus Dinner and Farm Management Workshop 2023

Robb Students benefited from attending Career Day presentations from three of our visiting co-operative major sponsors - Boyce, Graincorp and Fresh Country Farms Australia. Boyce Accountants also made a great presentation at our Farm Management workshop put on by our SCR.

Troy Setter CEO of Consolidated Pastoral was our guest speaker at the popular “Rural Focus dinner in 2023.
