Robb College Foundation is seeking Employers who wish to join and benefit from our Robb Foundation Industry Co-operative Giving program that combines industry support and engagement for Robb students.

Our Partners help co-fund our scholarships, leadership and other “Career-Ready” short courses and assist with providing coaching, work-experience, holiday employment, personal support and career opportunities.

Robb College has a fine history of 60 years supporting students completing their degrees at UNE. Most of our students come from regional country areas and return to farming or business and professions supporting agriculture in rural communities.

The Robb College Foundation has established new pathways of residential scholarships and support for Robb students. Employers are invited to join our Industry pool to help build these into industry- pathways.

Your contribution is pooled and matched by the Robb Foundation to fund current or establish new scholarships, to fund short, work skills-training courses and travel for work-experience for Robb students. These are pre-eminent awards and are supported by our:-

  1. Scholar Management Process – in association with the UNE, the Head of College and the Scholarship Selection Committee, Robb can provide a controlled process of managing the selection, placement, work-experience, progress monitoring, academic support, fee payment and employer engagement process.

  2. Career-Ready support scheme we provide a Robb work-experience placement service plus

    • In-house academic support with our Resident Academic and Pastoral Care Mentors.

    • Extra-curricular engagement through College sport and cultural activities with opportunities for stepping-up to Leader Roles in College projects such as marketing or charity work.

    • Robb Leadership Courses - short management development courses for “soft-skills” in areas of communication, self-development, decision-making, sales/consulting skills, leadership and other related competencies which the awardee may not have access to as part of their degree but will help them in fast-tracking to take on senior positions in their careers.

As an employer you can participate by providing work-experience; donating to the scholarship endowment trust-fund; providing a ‘named’ scholarship; having an existing scholarship administered or a combination of the above.

In conjunction with the Master of Robb, the Scholarship Committee and industry work-experience partners, Robb College can administer employer awards through the selection, awarding, fee-payment, monitoring, personal development and engagement processes with the awardees.

You will join a group of other, quality employers to become associated with one of the leading rural based Colleges of education in Australia.

Participating employers benefit from these processes and by becoming a Robb Industry Partner you will be promoted through our College activities, website, employer and “mixer-nights” with opportunities to become networked in with UNE Faculty and Research activities.

You will help secure top-quality employees and help us “Fast Track” their work ready skills to enjoy their careers.

You can help keep country-educated graduates working in rural & regional Australia.

You will be providing an invaluable investment towards the continued education for talented, young people from rural areas who may not normally be able to afford undertaking a higher-qualification and/or may be impacted by drought and the rural economic cycle on the family.

You will be helping to build an equal opportunity for our future problem-solvers.

Robb College is an open College. Our students come from all backgrounds: rural, metro, national and international. Our Graduates go to fill key roles in Agriculture, Rural-Science, Research, Health, Law, Accounting, Finance, Banking and Education not only in Australia but in World Organisations.

Whether they end-up running their own property, profession or heading-up a multi-national corporation their skills and knowledge enable them to serve their communities by problem solving. This is an opportunity to make a contribution to building equal opportunity for academic learning and development for students from all walks of life…and help build our future Generations of problem-solvers.

You will leave an everlasting legacy to educating young people in a quality environment.
