Troy is a Robb Alumn and is recognised as one Australia’s leading agribusiness managers and thought leaders in agriculture and food. Troy is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Consolidated Pastoral Company, a large, privately owned, Australian and Indonesian Agrifood business. Troy currently Chairs the Board of Dolly’s Dream, the Council of Research and Development Corporations and LiveCorp and is a former Chair of the Australian Beef Industry Foundation and several other organisations.

Along with having a degree in Rural Science from University of New England, he has also completed the Agribusiness program at Harvard Business School and The Australian Rural Leadership Program.

Troy has worked across the agribusiness industry in production through to processing and marketing for beef, sheep, grains, cotton, land development and logistics. Troy was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Australian Agricultural Company. Troy has held key executive positions with agribusinesses including, North Australian Cattle Company, Torrens Investments, Killara and Twynam Group.

Company Overview:

Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) is an Australian managed, UK owned Agrifood business with an enterprise value in excess of $750 million. It owns and operates a portfolio of 8 cattle stations with a carrying capacity of 300,000 head of cattle across 3.6m hectares of land in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland. Its direct sales channels primarily involve selling cattle and beef to Asian consumer markets, domestic feedlots or processors, and exporting live cattle. The company dates back to 1860 and was consolidated as a company in 1983. Besides Australia, CPC also holds an 90% interest in Juang Jaya Abdi Alam (JJAA) which owns and operates two feedlots in Indonesia. CPC is owned by Guy and Julia Hands through the Hands Family Office. Terra Firma (UK) owned by Guy Hands, is the investment manager of CPC for the Hands Family Office.
